The Development of Automated Processing of Orbit Predictions for CHAMP
نویسنده
چکیده
The German research satellite CHAMP, launched on July 15, 2000, features two tracking systems: a GPS Black Jack flight receiver and a Laser Retro Reflector (LRR). For operating the ground station network of the International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS) orbit predictions are needed. In order to meet the accuracy requirements of the SLR technique orbit predictions for CHAMP are generated at 12-hours-intervals based on the on-board navigation solutions of the GPS flight receiver and on SLR data. For a continuous and timely updating of the orbit predictions 24 hours a day, i.e. also outside normal working hours and additionally during weekends, the processing of CHAMP orbit predictions has been automated.

Identification of selected monogeneans using image processing, artificial neural network and K-nearest neighbor
Abstract Over the last two decades, improvements in developing computational tools made significant contributions to the classification of biological specimens` images to their correspondence species. These days, identification of biological species is much easier for taxonomist and even non-taxonomists due to the development of automated computer techniques and systems. In this study, we d...
متن کاملA Novel Method for Automated Estimation of Effective Parameters of Complex Auditory Brainstem Response: Adaptive Processing based on Correntropy Concept
Objectives: Automated Auditory Brainstem Responses (ABR) peak detection is a novel technique to facilitate the measurement of neural synchrony along the auditory pathway through the brainstem. Analyzing the location of the peaks in these signals and the time interval between them may be utilized either for analyzing the hearing process or detecting peripheral and central lesions in the human he...
متن کاملAlgorithm Description for LEO Precision Orbit Determination with Bernese v5.0 at CDAAC Overview
Overview The COSMIC Data Analysis and Archival Center (CDAAC) at UCAR has processed radio occultation data from the GPS/MET, CHAMP, and SAC-C missions in post-processing and a near real time mode of operation for CHAMP. The GPS data processing at the CDAAC is performed with the Bernese v5.0 software package. The COSMIC mission requirement for LEO velocity uncertainty is 0.1 mm/s 3D rms. The rec...
متن کاملAutomated Detection of Multiple Sclerosis Lesions Using Texture-based Features and a Hybrid Classifier
Background: Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is the most frequent non-traumatic neurological disease capable of causing disability in young adults. Detection of MS lesions with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the most common technique. However, manual interpretation of vast amounts of data is often tedious and error-prone. Furthermore, changes in lesions are often subtle and extremely unrepresentati...
متن کاملGravity Field Analysis from the Satellite Missions CHAMP and GOCE
This work describes global gravity field modeling from observations of the CHAMP and the GOCE satellite mission. In the case of CHAMP the so-called Energy Balance Approach is applied to measurements of GPS high-low tracking of the low orbiting CHAMP spacecraft. In the case of GOCE gravity gradiometry is the main observable. The experience gained processing real data of the CHAMP satellite missi...
